The family house

"Boundaries Are Made to Be Crossed."

A character-driven residential set built around the feeling of a lived-in Egyptian family home, where every layer of the environment contributes to the story. The visual language combines dark timber wall paneling, patterned vintage wallpaper, classic upholstered furniture, lace covers, old paintings, warm table lamps, chandeliers and carefully aged accessories to create a space that feels accumulated over generations rather than newly designed. Warm practical lighting dominates the interiors, contrasted with cool blue night light entering through windows and balconies. This warm–cool relationship gives the set cinematic depth while separating the intimate family world inside from the city outside. The art direction relies heavily on authentic imperfection—mixed furniture eras, layered carpets, family objects, old telephones, framed artwork, textured fabrics and slightly mismatched decorative pieces. Instead of creating a polished period interior, the set feels personal, nostalgic and believable.
